ITINERARY

​

This trail is an point to point ride, every night is spent in another place.

This program may vary depeding  on the weather...

Duration: 7 days - To take part to this trail, you have to be an experience rider

​

Day 1

​

Meeting at the equestrian farm between 6 p.m. and 7.30 p.m

​

This first evening is the good opportunity getting to know each others people of your groupe and our equestrian guides.

Day 2

​

Let's discover our horses. On this first day of ride, we will ride on the Champ du Feu.

You will try several horses on the 3 gaits to find the right one for your trail.

Lunch at the equestrian farm.

On the afternoon we ride through small typical villages of the Vosges before arriving at the pass of the Perheux. Then we begin the ascent of Mont St Jean. Once at the top, after a long canter, we enjoy the magnificent 360-degree view on the mountains.

Day 3

 

After taking the breakfast we head to Scherwiller, capital of the Riesling wine. We will take a break at the Berstein's castle to enjoy a viewpoint on the plain of Alsace and we will visit a wine cellar made of straw.

Day 4

​

Today we leave the Wine Route, towards mountains and the Haut-Koenigsbourg's castle. There we can appreciate a wonderful viewpoint on the plain the Alsatian vineyard. On the afternoon we head to walled medieval city of Ribeauvillé. There we will visit a biological wine cellar.

Day 5

 

We will continue on the Alsatian Wine Route through small typical villages like Bergheim, Kintzheim and Dambach-la-Ville.

Day 6

After the breakfast we head to the mountains, towards the Champ du Feu, peaking at a 1000 meters height. We ride through the Hohwald's waterfall, one of the finest of Alsace!

ACCOMMODATION

​

Accommodation is in an equipped chalet. Sleeping facilities in rooms with double bed or bunk room (2-8 people).

Having a single room is possible (there is extra-cost). If any people of the group you will take part want to share a room, you will have to pay for a single room.
