Ethological knowledge are exams from the French equestrian federation. They allow you to justify your knowledge and skills  in ethology.

​

Knowledge 1 program  :

Day 1  : Arrival at 9 am. After a little theoretical session on the sensory world of the horse and the communication signals, we will join our groups of horses where you can choose your horse for the weekend. You will discover the material used in ethology and how to approach the horse in safety.

In the afternoon we will start some exercises in order to gain respect and develop your horse's confidence and to mobilize the different parts of his body.

Day 2  : After breakfast, we will continue to improve on the different exercises. In the afternoon we will go on a horseback ride through the magnificent field of Champ du feu or continue the exercises in  foot.

During the weekend, the passage of Knowledge 1 is possible according to your level and will be in the form of continuous assessment.

Knowledge 2 program  :

Arrival at 9 a.m. After a little theoretical session on the social life and the horse's temperament, we will join our groups of horses where you can choose your horse for the weekend. We will review some knowledge exercises 1.

In the afternoon, we will continue to clarify and refine our requests, to control a horse on the circle and to pass pitfalls, etc.

After breakfast we will continue to  improve us on the different exercises. In the afternoon, we will go on a horseback ride through the magnificent Champ du feu estate where we  will continue the exercises at  foot.

During the weekend, the passage of Knowledge 2 is possible according to your level and will be in the form of continuous assessment.

ACCOMMODATION:

You will be accommodated in the apartments of our lodging (large apartments with one or two bedrooms) or in our guest rooms. If you are traveling alone and you do not take the single room supplement, we will allow us to place you with other people in the same case in the same room or the same apartment.

CATERING:

Catering is in the form of a table d'hôte. You will be able to feast on Alsatian specialties and elsewhere ... We try to work mainly with local producers and with "organic" products.
